Frequently Asked Questions
There is no minimum or maximum hours per week required. We do watch out for our caregivers who work over 40 – 45 hours to make sure they are not at risk for injury due to being tired, feel overburdened or need time for their own well-being.
We offer flexible scheduling to work with your availability.
Yes, we want to ensure that you feel you have the tools to help you be successful on the job. We offer initial orientation training and then optional quarterly and ongoing online training modules. We offer paid training for all trainings offered. We also have a Safety Mentor on staff that is available for personal training in the field if you ever have concerns or questions regarding your duties.
We are looking for individuals that have at least 6 months of experience as a caregiver and the heart and compassion for helping others who need care.
We base the start rate on your experience. We also add $ .50 on the hourly rate for evening, overnights and weekends.
Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, medication management, errands, safety supervision, companionship, light housekeeping, social activities, laundry, etc.
Yes, if they qualify for state funded services you may qualify to be a paid caregiver as long as you are not their spouse or Power of Attorney.
